A lot of software is made from you: from the data it collects and the attention it sells to advertisers. That's how so many apps can be free. Ours are paid for by the customers who choose a paid plan, or by us. Never by advertisers, and never by your data. That one difference shapes everything on this page.

How we keep it
Privacy is built in from the first line of code, not bolted on later.
On your device first
Your data lives on your phone. If a feature doesn't need a server, it doesn't use one.
When data leaves your phone
Some features need a server. When they do, your data is encrypted on the way and while it's stored, used only to make that feature work, and never shared or sold. Synced data goes further: it's end-to-end encrypted, so only your devices can read it.
Only what's needed
We collect the minimum a feature needs to work. Nothing sensitive is ever stored in plain text.
Your rights, from day one
See, correct, download or delete your data whenever you like. We hold ourselves to California's privacy law for everyone, wherever you live, before the law even requires it of us.
This website
No cookies, no ad trackers, no third-party pixels. You can read every page here without being followed around the web.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't track you across sites. Our fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
